SUO #66 - Easter

I love this stamp!  It is one of the single stamps available with Stampin' Up.  Those little bunnies are adorable.  This is for SUO challenge #66.

The base is Crumb Cake embossed with the Polka Dot embossing folder.  I inked the bunnies using the Island Indigo, Primrose Petals, and Summer Starfruit markers.  They are cut out with the new oval framelits in the Spring mini catalog.  The dp is from Birds of a Feather DSP.  The 'Happy Easter' on the right card is from Delightful Dozens stamp set.  A little Summer Starfruit ribbon tied to it and it's done.

Mojo Color Throwdown

I wanted to play yesterday so I went looking for inspiration.  Card challenge blogs are always a great source to get you started.  I have a list of a few on the left side if you need some inspiration.  This card was for Mojo Monday #284 (sketch) and Color Throwdown CTD233 (certainly celery, crumb cake, pink pirouette, and pumpkin pie).

The stamp is from Easy Events.  I embossed the certainly celery cs with the Polka Dot embossing folder.  The dp is from the Subtles stack.  I added Pumpkin Pie ribbon, flowers from Boho Blossoms punch and pearls finish it off.

LNS challenge 214 - Masculine Cards

Masculine cards are always hard for me to make.  I end up making it more girly.  I think this one works for a guy though.  It is for the LNS challenge 214 - to make a masculine card.

Happy Birthday was stamped in Calypso Coral, punched out and popped up with dimensionals onto the ribbon stamped in Island Indigo.  The dp is from World Spectacular DSP paper pack. Quick and easy card for the birthday boy (or girl).

Thanks for stopping by!  I would love to know what you think.

Get Whale Soon!

Isn't this whale adorable?  I love this set, Oh Whale.   The Cloudy Day embossing folder too.  There are so many possibilities with these.

I embossed Bashful Blue cs and added DSP from the Sunshine and Sprinkls DSP pack.  This is matted on Basic Gray cs and Basic Gray ribbon tied around it.  The whale is stamped in Island Indigo and cut with the Happy Whale clearlit.

A quick, easy and adorable card to cheer someone up.   Thanks for stopping by!

Four Square Valentine

I know it's a day after Valentine's but I have one more project to share.  We made this card last month at my playdays.

The base is Basic Gray cs.  It is embossed with the Polka Dot embossing folder.   The large squares are whisper white and Primrose Petals. The small squares are punched with the postage punch from More Amore DSP.  The heart is cut with the small heart from Hearts A Flutter framelits.

I love how this one turned out.  Thanks for stopping by!

Chocolate Love

I purchased the Xlarge Hershey bars for my daughters for Valentine's Day and made them all spiffy.

I used the More Amore specialty DSP, Pool Party cs and Real Red cs.  The hearts are stamped with the Hearts A Flutter stamp set.  The banner is cut with the Hearts A Flutter framelit dies.   The circle is from an retired set, PS I Love You.

I wrapped this bar with Pool Party cs, and DSP from last years SAB (love this paper).   I stamped the dress from the new All Dressed Up set in Lucky Limeade and cut it with the framelits.  I cut a second dress and cut it at the waist to make a cardigan.  The message is from the retired set, PS I Love You.   The ribbon is Calypso Coral.

Celebrate Sentimental

This is one of the projects my customers made this month at my playdays.  I love this stamp set! I cased a card from fellow SU demonstrator, Nanci Siegrist.  I couldn't find a blog for her to link to but wanted to give her credit for the inspiration.  This card also meets the challenge requirements for LateNight Stampers weekly challenge #210

I used Very Vanilla cs and Early Espresso cs and stamped in Early Espresso.  I also sponged all the edges with Early Espresso to give it an aged look to match the bicycle stamp.

Did I mention that this stamp set is FREE?  Yep,it's a Sale-A-Bration stamp set and through March 22, you can receive it FREE with a $50 purchase!  There are lots of other FREE SAB product too, so be sure to check it out.
