75+40= A LOTTA CARDS!

Hello everyone! I have been a busy bee lately. First, myself and another mom held a card-making event for the youth group at our church. We made over 60 cards. Of course, I was so busy creating that I forgot to take pictures. ugh! There were a variety of themes made and will be used by church members. We plan on doing another one soon.

My next project to get done was 75 invitations for a special Thanksgiving dinner my church is having.

This invitation was really simple to make. No stamping involved, just a lot of cutting. The brown base paper is half of an 8.5x11 piece of cardstock. The printed piece is cut 8x5 and then I used a CM decorative corner punch. Those two pieces are adhered together. The vanilla cardstock is cut 7.5x4.5. I first ran the whole sheet of cardstock thru the printer. After cutting it down to size, I used the SU slit punch and wove the ribbon in to attach the printed invite to the other two layers.

Finally, the Veterans Day cards. The ladies ministry of my church hosts a lunch to honor the veterans. I made 40 cards to give them and show our appreciation and thanks.

Supplies:
stars stamp (SU's Basic Backgrounds)
God Bless American stamp (SU)
ribbon
brilliant blue and ruby red markers (SU)
thank you (SU's Wonderful Words)

I stamped Thank You on the bottom center of the card. I then stamped the stars all over the front of the card. I colored the God Bless America stampe with the markers and stamped. This piece was adhered to the card with dimensionals.

That's it for now. Time to get busy on a couple of other projects I still need to finish. Thanks for stopping by.
