Single Layer Birthday

I was supposed to post this Friday but technology was working against me. It's here now though!

This was a card I had for a make-n-take at an Open House before Christmas. I used the SU notecards and the Vintage Vogue stamp set and the hostess set, Happiest Birthday Wishes. I stamped the flowers and the birthday sentiment in Concord Crush and the leafy image in Pear Pizzazz. It's a very simple easy and quick card.

Supplies:
paper - SU Notecards (#107311)
ink: Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz
stamps: vintage Vogue, Happiest Birthday Wishes

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to say hi!

Valentine's Smarties Topper

Today's project started out as a possible workshop project for last month but when I couldn't find Smarties anywhere, I had to go to plan B which you saw yesterday. These Smarties happened to be left from a Halloween project. You don't need Smarties for this project though. I used the 1"x8" cellophane bags that were in the Holiday mini but has been carried over so you can still get them. Any slender treat will fit in the bags including pencils, pixi sticks, and loose small pieces of candy.

I used my SU markers on the strawberry from the P.S. I Love You set and stamped it inside the heart circle from the same stamp set which was stamped in Real Red. This was then punched with the 1 3/8" circle punch. I punched a Real Red scallop circle and stapled to the bag and covered the staple with circle punched image. I punched a second red scallop and adhered to the back. The tag was made by inking the stamp (from P.S. I Love You) with the SU markers and punching out with the Decorative Label punch. I sponged the edges with Choc. Chip ink. I punched a hole in the topper and the tag and attached with Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

Supplies:
paper - Real red, Very Vanilla
ink - Real Red, Choc. Chip, Pear Pizzazz
stamp - P.S. I Love You (125462 clear, 125460 wood)
other - 1 3/8" circle punch (119860), 1 3/4" scallop circle punch (119854),Decorative label punch (120907), Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine (123125), sponge,stapler

Valentine's Treat

Today's project is one we made at my workshops last month. It's called a Matchbook because it opens like a matchbook. It's a quick and easy treat project that can be made for any holiday or occasion.
I used Chocolate Chip for the base and cut it 3"x 8 1/2". It is then scored at 5" & 1" on the long side. Fold at the score lines and staple your treat to the 1" section about half way (a flat type treat is best such as small M&M bags). I then covered the front with Real Red dp from the Brights Paper stack. The strawberry is from the new set, P.S. I Love You. I used my SU markers to color the image and stamped on Confetti White cs. I punched it with the 1 3/8" circle punch and adhered to a Pear Pizzazz scallop circle (1 3/4"). The heart is the smallest heart of the Heart Framelits. The inside sentiment is also from the P.S. I Love You set on Confetti White and punched with the Decorate Label punch.

This little treat is perfect for a child's valentines.

Supplies:
paper - Choc. Chip, Pear Pizzazz, Confetti White, Brights Stack
ink - Real Red, Choc. Chip, Pear Pizzazz
stamp - P.S. I Love You (125462 clear, 125460 wood)
other - stapler, Hearts Framelits (125599), 1 3/8" circle punch (119860), 1 3/4" scallop circle punch (119854), decorative label punch (120907)

Elementary Elegance Birthday

Today's share uses the First Edition Specialty DSP. I ordered this paper pack not really know how to use it but I must say, I love it! It is a great choice for a vintage look.

The stamp set used is Elemtary Elegance and you can get it FREE during Sale-A-Bration. Yes, FREE! For every $50 you spend between now and March 31st, you get to choose a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. I stamped all the stamped images with Night of Navy ink and sponged the edges of the dsp with it also. I stamped and then punched the sentiment with the Curly Label punch which fits perfectly. Stampin Up is so great about doing that! The sentiment is popped up with dimensionals. I matted the image on Night of Navy cs and added Night of Navy ribbon. The base is Very Vanilla.

Supplies:
paper: Very Vanilla, Night of Navy, First Edition Specialty DSP (#121878)
ink: Night of Navy
Stamps: Elementary Elegance (SAB)
Other: Curly Label Punch (#119851), 1/4" Night of navy grosgrain ribbon (#109036), dimensionals

Thanks for dropping by!

Doily Crush

Have you seen the new Doily sizzlit in the Occasions mini catalog? I finally got mine and set out to play with it.
I cut the Basic Black cs with the Doily Sizzlit. The Concord Crush cs is embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I used the Eyelet Border Punch on a strip of black cs and scored it with the Simply Scored to fold it over the Concord Crush. The stamp is from Mixed Bunch and stamped in Concord Crush onto Wisteria Wonder cs, then punched with the Blossom Punch. I adhered the flower to the doily with a Glimmer Brad from the 2010 In Color pack. All was placed on Whisper White card base.

Supplies:
paper: Whisper white, basic black, concord crush, wisteria wonder
ink: concord crush
stamps: Mixed Bunch (#125537 clear, #125535 wood)
other: Paper Doily Sizzlet (#125592), Eyelet Border punch (#119853), 2010 In color Glimmer brad (#121005), Vintage Wallpaper embossing paper (#120175)

Thanks for looking! Check back tomorrow for another project.

Mambo Mixed Punch

Today's project was a card for a swap with demonstrators of my upline and one of my downline. I went with simple, which, if you know me, you know that's hard.

I started with Melon Mambo cs and ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder. I used the scallop border punch on Basic Black cs. I stamped one of the flowers from Mixed Bunch set in Melon Mambo onto Pink Pirouette cs and punched it out with the Blossom Punch.

I popped up the flower with a dimensional and it's ready for whatever sentiment is needed.

Supplies:
paper: whisper white, melon mambo, basic black, pink pirouette
ink: melon mambo
stamps: Mixed Bunch (#125537 clear, #125535 wood)
other: Perfect polka dot embossing folder (#117335), Blossom Punch (#125603), Scallop Border punch (#11988), dimensionals

Thanks for looking! Check back on Monday for a new project featuring the new Paper Doily sizzlet
